Weight loss friendly food you can eat

If you are looking for a way to lose weight, the first thing you might have done was to starve yourself. While this may have worked eventually, it would only lead to malnutrition and a serious imbalance to your metabolism. This is because you would actually be training your body to desperately hang onto any fats left in an effort to compensate for the sudden lack of food. The best way to lose weight is not to eat less, but to eat properly. Below is a list of weight loss friendly foods you can eat while on a diet: Leafy Greens. Greens such as spinach, kale, and romaine lettuce are low in both carbohydrates and calories. Adding these vegetables to your meal is a great way to bulk up on the volume of your meal while still getting enough fiber, vitamins, antioxidants, and calcium. Salmon. Salmon is loaded with iodine, which is necessary in allowing the thyroid to function properly. The thyroid is essential in keeping the metabolism running smoothly. Salmon also contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which studies show are helpful in reducing and lowering inflammation, obesity, and metabolic disease. Cottage cheese. Similar to leafy greens, cottage cheese is another great way to bulk up on the volume of your meal while still getting the necessary amount of proteins. This is a great snack for when you are feeling hungry but trying to stick to a careful diet. Fortunately, cottage cheese makes you feel full while having a low calorie count. Green tea. Drinking a few cups of green tea daily is an extremely healthy and beneficial addition to your weight-loss diet. Green tea contains catechins, a natural antioxidant. Catechins are responsible for hindering the storage of belly fats. It is ideal to supplement green tea with plenty of exercise. Brown rice. A recommended alternative to white rice, brown rice is known to burn fat and boost metabolism. It is also packed with fiber and has much fewer calories as compared to white rice. Bananas. This fruit is considered a “slimming superfood” simply because it is one of the most effective fruits in boosting metabolism. It is also good at boosting energy and helping maintain energy at a slow and steady pace. Bananas make an excellent breakfast choice if you are on the run and feeling hungry. You don’t need to say goodbye to so many delicious types of food if you want to lose weight. Find delicious and healthy recipes on line that feature weight loss friendly food
