Extreme Water Sports you need to try

Adrenaline is the fuel for a lot of athletes and a lot of outdoor enthusiasts. If you are one of them or if you’re looking for something to spice up your life then extreme sports might be your thing. There are a lot of extreme sports but for this article we’ll just focus on extreme water sports.

Possibly the most popular on this list. You may think that this is not that extreme but watch surfing competitions and you’ll see how extreme they can get.

Scuba Diving

Strapping on an oxygen tank and diving down into the ocean depths is pretty extreme. So if you want to explore the underwater world, get your scuba license, your gear, and go diving.

White Water Rafting

This is a fun activity to do as a group. But there is also an extreme side to this activity.

Very similar to White Water Rafting. When you go on a kayak you’re going to be by yourself on the kayak.

Cave Diving

Generally, in scuba diving you’ll be going under the water in the ocean. Cave Diving changes things up because you’ll be going underwater in caves.

Free Diving

Think of Scuba Diving but without the oxygen tank. Free divers train themselves to hold their breath over normal time periods. The current world record is 830 feet by Herbert Nitsch

Water Skiing and Wakeboarding

We’re putting these 2 together because they’re essentially the same. The difference between them is you’ll be using skis or a board. If you want you can even do this with your bare feet.

If you love the water then one of these extreme sports might be what you’re looking for.

I’ve never tried any of these, but after reading through this list I’m thinking kayaking sounds like a lot of fun!

Cave diving has always been so intriguing to me, but there are so many associated horror stories. Would definitely want a guide and a lot of assistance getting started!
