Colorful candy. Studies have found that certain types of artificial coloring, such as Yellow No.4 and Yellow No.5, are linked with the development of ADD in children. Because of this, Norway and Sweden have already taken action to ban the use of this coloring on candies.
Soda. It is common knowledge that soda is completely loaded with sugar, but it is also dangerously acidic. It takes over 30 cups of water to neutralize the acidity of one cup of soda.
Canned soup. Popular because of its convenience, canned soup should only be taken in moderation. It contains monosodium glutamate which is known to cause heart palpitations, nausea, and headaches.
Hot dogs. Highly processed meat such as hot dogs, bacon, and cold cuts are known to give a higher risk of colon cancer. These foods move through the digestive tract slowly so be sure to accompany it with plenty of vegetables.
Donuts. These are loaded with extremely unhealthy fats, such as omega-6 oils. These fats are responsible for heart diseases and arterial inflammation. Iced tea. The drinks served in fast food restaurants contain propylene glycol alginate. This substance is used to thicken, stabilize, and emulsify foods. Unfortunately, it also causes cardiovascular and neurotoxic issues.
